About us
fly-eco.com is an innovation of the environmental enterprise "Green Aviation" which was founded in 2008 by aviation professionals who worked for many years with leading airlines and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). We became increasingly concerned that the aviation industry we loved was not doing anywhere near enough to deal with its environmental responsibilities and we were determined to take practical steps to begin to change things.

Green Aviation is now developing and rolling out a range of completely innovative solutions to help reduce the environmental impact of aviation. Our team is highly experienced in aviation and sustainability matters with members of our team having worked for airlines, aviation organisations and sustainability certification schemes.
Green Aviation is a member of the world's most respected sustainability certification organisation the 'Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels'. Some of our people are members of the 'Royal Geographical Society', the 'International Society of Sustainable Professionals', and the 'International Environmental Management Association'.

Our powerful flight search engine has more than 10 years of ongoing development and has reliably handled tens of millions of flight searches and bookings. It allows you to find and compare the best flight deals from hundreds of airlines and travel agents worldwide. Once your own flight search finds what you need, you simply make the booking with the airline, agent or travel provider shown in the search results. Once your transaction is complete and verified we will pay for and plant up to 10 trees to offset your carbon emissions with highly reputable partners; it costs you nothing extra and you might save a lot of money by not buying expensive offsets elsewhere. If you wish, we can provide you with certificates of offsetting and tree planting.
We don't stop there. Once we earn surplus revenues, we plan to invest at least 50% of them into protecting rainforests, temperate forests and other eco-projects to reduce the eco-impact of aviation! It's a benefit for your bank balance and the environment! The more you use our flight search engine and the more people you share it with, the more trees we can plant and protect the environment more! It's a truly unique scheme!
